Anime – The Latest Trend in Vehicle Wraps | Los Angeles CA

Adding a custom anime image or graphic to your vehicle seems to be the latest trend in car customization, as Iconography Studios has seen an increasing interest in these vehicle wrap designs recently.

It has never been easier to add custom graphics to your vehicle to truly personalize your ride. These custom anime decals are printed on special adhesive-backed vinyl that is made to be applied directly to your vehicle’s OEM paint job. After printing, the material is laminated with a protective UV laminate film to provide durability and longevity to the prints.

Anime graphics, or really any other custom artwork that you may have can easily be turned into a vehicle wrap design for any year, make and model of car. Here are a couple of important tips to keep in mind when considering a custom graphics application for your personal vehicle:

1. Vinyl vehicle graphics are not meant to be permanent. They will look great and wear well for several years. How long the graphics last is highly dependent on how well they are maintained. The most important thing is to keep them clean! Dirt and pollutants are the greatest enemy to your graphics, as they will slowly eat through the laminate if not cleaned often. We recommend a weekly hand wash.

2. Unless your vehicle is kept indoor while the sun is out, you will likely experience some “ghosting” of your original paint – meaning the sun will fade any exposed paint faster than the paint that is hidden under the graphics.

3. Some images are protected under copyright. If you want to put a graphic on your vehicle, make sure you have the rights to the imagery. There are several places you can purchase stock images for a small fee, such as iStockPhoto.com, or Shutterstock.com.
