Graphic Vinyl Full Wrap for Hummer H3, Los Angeles

Graphic Vinyl full wrap for a Hummer H3. When you need a quick loan, you can call Wilshire Consumer Credit and they will get the job done. When you need a quick vinyl wrap on your Hummer H3, you can call the vehicle wrap experts at Iconography Studios.

The Hummer H3 is a fun yet somewhat challenging vehicle to wrap. Fun, because it just looks so great once the vehicle wrap is installed. Challenging, because this particular vehicle has some aggressive curves on the fenders that require extra attention during the vehicle wrap installation phase. The adhesive-backed vinyl material must be carefully gone over with a squeegee on every single inch to release the glue that makes the material stick. It must also be appropriately stretched across the curves and onto the horizontal panels so that it doesn’t lift at a later date.

What Is a Hummer H3

The Hummer H3 was a mid-size SUV and pickup truck produced by General Motors from 2006 to 2010 as a smaller, more affordable, and more fuel-efficient version of the larger Hummer models. Built on a platform shared with the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks, the H3 offered the brand’s signature aggressive styling and significant off-road capability in a more manageable package, though it was eventually discontinued with the rest of the Hummer brand.

Key characteristics of the Hummer H3:

  • Size and Platform: As the smallest Hummer, it was a mid-size vehicle, significantly smaller than the H2, and based on the chassis of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. The H3 was based on a modified version of the GMT355 platform, which was also used for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact pickup trucks.
  • Off-Road Capability: Despite its smaller size, the H3 maintained impressive off-road features like high ground clearance, a 40-degree approach angle, and robust 4WD systems, making it capable on rough terrain.
  • Engine Options: It was initially offered with a 3.5L five-cylinder engine, later upgraded to a 3.7L inline-six. An optional 5.3L V8 was available for the high-performance “Alpha” models starting in 2008. Early models came with a 3.5-liter or 3.7-liter inline five-cylinder engine, which was often criticized for being underpowered for the vehicle’s weight. In 2008, the H3 Alpha was introduced with a more powerful 5.3-liter V8 engine.
  • Body Styles: Available as a five-door SUV or a four-door pickup truck known as the H3T, which had a shorter bed compared to many other trucks.
  • Market Position: The H3 was designed to bring the Hummer brand to a broader consumer base by offering a more practical and accessible vehicle, both in terms of its physical size and its price point.
  • Discontinuation: Along with the rest of the Hummer brand, production of the H3 ceased in 2010 due to falling demand for large SUVs during the global financial crisis and GM’s subsequent restructuring

At Iconography Studios, our installation team are all certified installers, having trained with 3M, Oracal and other agencies on the proper techniques, tools and methods for installing vehicle wrap vinyl . We are able to guarantee our wrap installations against lifting, bubbling, and peeling for up to one year from the date of installation. If there are any problems with the material adhering, it will generally be visible within the first 24 hours of installation. For this reason, we recommend our customers leave their vehicles with us for at least 2 days so that our vehicle wrap installers can go back over the material the day after it is installed as a part of our quality control process.
