Iconography has just completed one of our most interesting full color digital print wrap projects to-date. Our client, Roland, is a leading manufacturer of many types of precision machines, including musical instruments like this piano and drum set.
Furthermore, we pride ourselves on our unique approach to every Piano Wrap project, ensuring that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
Both of these musical instruments, as well as the printer that was used to print the Piano Wrap material, are Roland products. Using the same process and technology that we use for vehicle wraps, this Piano Wrap was printed on our Roland XC540 printer with OEM Roland inks, ensuring the highest quality digital print output on our wrap material. The pictures below document Iconography’s precision in wrap expertise on this Roland HP-307 SuperNATURAL Piano, as well as the new TD-20SX V-Pro series drum kit. Our unique Piano Wrap for Roland showcases our ability to transform instruments into stunning works of art.
Wrapping these instruments present challenges that we do not encounter when wrapping vehicles. Because vehicle wraps are so popular, we are able to purchase every year a complete set of vehicle templates that are about 90% accurate to the size and specs of the vehicles. This assists our designers when they are creating the vehicle wrap designs. However, no such templates exist for instrument wraps, so our design team needs to create those templates using detailed measurements of the instruments.
